Yahoo is in talks to buy Foursquare, location-based social "check-in" app, to the tune of $900 million, sources told TechCrunch Wednesday (Tweet This).
TechCrunch touched base with several unnamed sources who gave mixed responses to the possible acquisition. Yahoo's purchase of Foursquare could come as Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer moves toward reviving the company's mobile presence, after acquiring other social apps, like blogging site Tumblr.
