Namibia's GDP growth slows to 3.1 % in Q1: stats agency

Namibia's economy grew by 3.1 per cent in the first quarter of this year compared with an 8.1 percent expansion during the last three months of 2014, the statistics agency said on Wednesday.
"The slow performance during the quarter under review was mainly due to wholesale and retail trade that recorded a decline in the real value added of 2.4 per cent," the Namibia Statistics Agency said in a statement.
